Former 812 reporter is now working at the White House!

(WASHINGTON, DC) – Former 812 reporter Ellie Acra has just started her new job at The White House!

Her role within the Trump Administration is an incredible opportunity to serve the nation and represent Southeast Indiana! She is working in the Travel Office for the President.

For those unfamiliar with Acra, she is a Greensburg and Purdue graduate who has always had a passion for politics.

For those who know Ellie, landing a job at the White House at the age of 24 is no surprise!

She joined The 812 in 2022 and made an immediate impact. She did an exceptional job on every story she covered and one thing that sets her apart is not only her talent, but also her work ethic.

Ellie covered many stories for us including when she interviewed former Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb on multiple occasions.

We look forward to Ellie sharing more about her experiences within the Trump Administration in the future!
