Lawrenceburg awarded $325K to improve several roads

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – The City of Lawrenceburg is celebrating the award of $325,012 through Indiana’s Community Crossings Matching Grant (CCMG) program.
The grant will go toward paving, patching and ADA improvements along portions of Center, Tate, Water, First, New, Charlotte, and Second Streets in 2027.
Lawrenceburg City Councilman Dylan Liddle is applauding grant and looks forward to the improvements that will be made in District 2.
“We’re fortunate to live in a community that continues to prioritize pursuing these grant opportunities to maintain our infrastructure and make the most of our local tax dollars.”
Liddle also recognized the city employees responsible for pursuing and securing the funding.
“I want to extend a special thank you to all of our city staff who put in the time and effort to pursue these grants and make these projects possible. Their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed, and our community is better because of it.”
