Fundraiser launched for Greensburg family amid brain tumor battle

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – A fundraiser has been created to help a Greensburg family as they navigate through a difficult medical situation. 

39-year-old Justin LaFary was diagnosed with a brain tumor in October and has had multiple surgeries so far and will begin radiation treatments soon, his wife Sheena said. 

“These treatments are essential for his health. His tumor has already grown since his last surgery in December, but they require us to travel frequently to a specialized medical center far from our home,” she explained. 

The family expects to be at the medical facility every weekday for the next several months. 

A Go Fund Me has been created to assist the family with the cost of travel, lodging and time away from work.

“We are doing everything we can to support Justin, but the financial strain is becoming more than we can manage alone,” she said.
