Fundraiser underway for Sunman family grieving unexpected loss

(SUNMAN, Ind.) – A Go Fund Me fundraiser has been launched for a Sunman family grieving an unexpected loss. 

47-year-old Travis Harris recently passed away and leaves behind his wife and three children. 

The Go Fund Me was created by Sunman Clerk Treasurer Cheryl Taylor in an effort to help the family get some much-needed financial assistance. 

“In the wake of this tragic loss, the family is seeking financial assistance to help cover Travis's funeral expenses and to support their household for some immediate needs,” Taylor said. 

The family was already living on a strict budget and could use the additional help now. 

Harris was a Navy veteran and also a USPS worker, Taylor added. 

“Any contribution, no matter how small, would be deeply appreciated as they navigate this difficult period. Thank you for your kindness and support,” she added.
