Gene Hackman, star of 'Hoosiers, found dead in New Mexico

Hackman, his wife and their dog were all found deceased

(SANTE FE, N.M.) – The star of the movie ‘Hoosiers’ has been found dead in New Mexico. 

95-year-old Gene Hackman, his wife and their dog were found dead at their Sante Fe home on Wednesday. 

Authorities have said there are no signs of foul play but are unsure of how they passed away. They also believe they may have been deceased for quite some time before being found.

Hackman starred as the coach in the 1986 film ‘Hoosiers’ which was based on Milan’s 1954 state championship victory.
