(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Greensburg High School inducted two graduates into the school’s Hall of Fame on Saturday night.
The Greensburg High School Alumni Hall of Fame is not limited to achievements, but rather those who had a positive impact on their community or profession after graduation.
Dan Manus is a 1970 graduate who served as a police officer, firefighter, school employee and Greensburg Mayor.
Catherine Lanham Miller graduated from Greensburg in 1934 and worked in the Office of War Information to promote government-sponsored marketing campaigns during WWII.
She later went on to be a writer for numerous national magazines ranging from TV Guide to Good Housekeeping.
Miller also wrote the book “How to Say Yes to Life: A Woman’s Guide to Beating the Blahs” which was recognized as a landmark early feminist work.
The GCHS Alumni Hall of Fame induction ceremony took place during the Pirates home game against South Dearborn.
