(TERRE HAUTE, Ind. ) – Two sisters from Dearborn County have both qualified for the Indiana Middle School State Cross Country Championship.
However, they won’t be wearing the same jersey.
Ella Kearns is a 7th grader at St. Lawrence School and her younger sister, Lily, attends Greendale Middle School.
The Kearns sisters are not only competing for a top spot in state, but also for bragging rights at home!
Their mother even has a custom t-shirt that she will be wearing when the girls compete in Terre Haute on Saturday.
This story was made possible by St. Lawrence physical education teacher Bryan Wagner.
