Kayaking tour along Whitewater, Great Miami on Friday

(NORTH BEND, OH.) – Kayakers can take a guided paddle tour along the Great Miami River on Friday, July 11.

A local naturalist will take participants down the Whitewater and Great Miami Rivers while keeping an eye out for an array of wildlife including bald eagles, great blue herons, egrets, kingfishers, ospreys, and many other native species.

The tour will start at Carriage House Farm which is located at 2872 Lawrenceburg Road in North Bend. It will take place from 9 a.m.to 12 p.m.

Participants are asked to bring their own kayak and personal floatation device.

“Don’t have a kayak? No problem! Let us know in advance and we’ll provide one for you,” organizers said.
