Kentucky library hosts free Halloween costume drive

(GLASGOW, KY.) – A library in southern Kentucky is helping families who need Halloween costumes.

The Mary Wood Weldon Memorial Public Library in Glasgow is hosting a costume drive beginning on October 21.

Residents are asked to bring in clean, gently-used costumes that they no longer need. Other families will be able to shop for free.

“Every donation helps make Halloween fun and accessible for our community,” the library stated.

The library added that leftover costumes will be donated to a local thrift store.
