Local sports photographer shoots FC Cincinnati game

It was a goal that began when he took his daughter to a game

(CINCINNATI) – Jon Goldsberry’s teenage daughter once asked him to take her to an FC Cincinnati game for her birthday.

They went to the game and it motivated Jon to pursue a new photography goal.

“I thought, how cool would it be that my daughter, who loves soccer, would see me down there taking photos at an FC Cincinnati game,” he said. 

He is no stranger to sports photography as he owns 'JonBoy Media’ and can often be found on the sidelines of sporting events in Southeast Indiana. 

Goldsberry also specializes in team and individual photos of high school athletes.

That goal became reality on Saturday when Jon was assigned as a photographer for Cincy Soccer Talk for the game against Atlanta United.

“It was unbelievable, everybody in the media was so nice, and I have never been around that many creatives at one time who were all so extremely helpful,” Goldsberry said. 

This likely won’t be the last time as he expects to shoot a few more FC Cincinnati games this year.
