Local teams to compete for Sectional titles tonight

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Several local baseball teams will compete for a Sectional championship on Monday night.
Two fierce rivals will meet in the Sectional 29 title game for a third year in a row as Batesville and Greensburg will play at 6 p.m. in Batesville. The Bulldogs are hoping to get revenge as the Pirates won last year.
The East Central Trojans will try to win their first Sectional title since 2006 tonight. They will play at Columbus North at 6 p.m. for the Sectional 14 championship.
North Decatur is hoping to bring home the Sectional 59 trophy as they will face Knightstown in Morristown at 6 p.m.
South Ripley is hosting their Sectional on their brand new baseball field. The Raiders will compete for the Sectional 45 title against Brownstown Central at 6 p.m.
