(AURORA, Ind.) – Customer service employees with Matthews Aurora Funeral Services are giving back to students facing food insecurity.
They supported the Sacks of Snacks program which is organized by the Dearborn County Clearinghouse. The program provides a weekly bag of nutritious food to certain students to eat when they are outside of school.
The customer service members contributed snacks, helped organize donations, and worked together to ensure the drive was a success.
“Every donation—large or small—represented a shared commitment to supporting local families and making a meaningful difference in the lives of children in our community,” said Matthews Customer Service Lead Email Coordinator Michelle Helfrich.
She added, “We are proud of the Matthews Aurora Customer Service team for embodying compassion, teamwork, and community spirit. Their participation in this drive is a wonderful example of how coming together can create a positive impact close to home.”
