Milan Swimming wins fifth straight ORVC title

(MILAN, Ind.) – The Milan Swim Team earned the ORVC Conference championship for the fifth year in a row.
The meet was held at Milan Elementary on Saturday with South Ripley, Switzerland County, Southwestern, Rising Sun, Shawe and Milan competing.
Milan boys dominated the field with a final score of 84 to win their conference. The second place team was South Ripley with a score of 57.
On the girls side, the Lady Indians outswam the other schools to earn 94 points. The second place team had 78.
The Indians had several individual event winners including Lainey Stock, Lucas Cooney, Seth Thomas and JJ Mutz.
The Girls 200 Free Relay was swam by Ashlyn DeWire, Sydney Batten, Kayleigh McIntosh and Lainey Stock
The Boys 400 Free Relay was swam by Tyler Myers, Lucas Cooney, Seth Thomas and JJ Mutz.
