Milan tavern's Jello Wrestling event supports local patient

(MILAN, Ind.) – A unique event this weekend led to a large donation to a local woman battling breast cancer. 

DJ’s Tavern in Milan hosted the third annual Body Slam Breast Cancer Jello Wrestling Competition on Saturday night. 

The event was organized to serve as a fundraiser for Kim Clark Hensley, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in August. 

Altogether, the event fundraised $3,550 to support Hensley during her treatments. 

Last year, the fundraiser benefited Joyce Gilbert, who is now one month into remission and was in attendance on Saturday.
