(CEDAR CREST, NM) – A New Mexico brewery has a unique idea that they hope to bring to reality.
Rumor Brewing Company in Cedar Crest opened in 2016 and also features homemade food that includes a pizza oven.
They’ve noticed how the brewery attracts families who have kids.
“We realized there wasn’t really a good place for kids to be and feel engaged and have a good time that wasn’t just at the brewery. We realized we had a lot of the pieces of the puzzle for the land,” Rumor Brewing owner Patrick Johnson told Albuquerque TV affiliate KOB4.
The brewery plans to add a playground and gaming area that will include cornhole, Jenga and other activities. They launched a fundraising campaign and hope to have the project in the works this summer.
