North Vernon man accused of juvenile rape

(NORTH VERNON, Ind.) – A Jennings County man is facing Rape and Child Molesting charges after an investigation. 

Police say an adult victim said that they had been sexually abused by 70-year-old Ronald Brown since before they were 14. 

Detectives interviewed Brown as part of the investigation. 

“Following additional interviews with those involved, detectives established probable cause and referred charges to the Jennings County Prosecutor's Office,” the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office said. 

A warrant was filed and Brown was arrested on Wednesday.
