Northern Indiana deputies crash wedding to arrest sex offender

(LA PORTE, Ind.) – The La Porte County Sheriff’s Department crashed a wedding on Tuesday! 

A wedding was scheduled to take place at the La Porte County Courthouse. 

Deputies say the groom, Bradley Armstrong, is a convicted Sexual Violent Predator and falsified his marriage license application. 

“Armstrong failed to disclose himself as a convicted lifetime sex / violent offender, thus resulting in an arrest warrant being issued yesterday for False Information in Marriage License Application,” the department said. 

Moments before the nuptials, two deputies showed up in the courthouse and arrested Armstrong.
