(OLDENBURG, Ind.) – Oldenburg Academy girl’s soccer is off to a historic start so far this season.

They are led by head coach Andrew Alig and some key players are Claire Niese, Katheryn Mack, Lydia Niese, Sophia Leising, Ellie Satterfield and Bridget Lohmueller.
They will have a big test this week when they host the state champion Lawrenceburg Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The Twisters aren’t the only local team having a great season.
The Switzerland County Lady Pacers are currently ranked #3 in Class 1A while Batesville is ranked #13 in Class 2A.
Individually, Franklin County sophomore Anabelle Wiesemann leads all of Indiana in points scored and goals.
The player in second place in both those categories is Oldenburg’s Claire Niese.
