Could lead to more road closures around Aurora

(AURORA, Ind.) – The Ohio River reached minor flood stage of 52 feet overnight.
The river is expected to rise to a crest of 54.3 feet Wednesday evening.
The waters are currently inching closer to State Road 56 between Judiciary and Fourth Street.
Some roads are already closed including East Laughery at Shilo Lane, Cross Road at Goose Run, Park Avenue and Cole Lane in Aurora.
Dispatchers added that Huesemen Road at State Road 262 is also at a threat for flooding.
Officials urge drivers to avoid trying to drive through flooded roads as most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Friday.
