(VERSAILLES, Ind.) – A strong line of storms moved through Southeast Indiana on Wednesday night causing power outages, damage and flooding.
The heavy rain was accompanied by high winds and the possibility of an isolated tornado.
One Greensburg homeowner had a tree fall on their new shed. She said the tree would have fallen on their home if it wasn't for the shed that was put there just a few months ago.
In Versailles, one homeowner had a tree limb fall on their house. Fortunately, there were no injuries and the damage was minimal.
There have also been several reports of downed trees and wires. Some of those were reported in the Versailles, Sunman and Napoleon area.
The storms have also caused some flooding around the area. Drivers should be aware of the potential for standing water on roadways.
