Reds CEO Phil Castellini to be part of South Ripley field dedication

(VERSAILLES, Ind.) – A dedication ceremony will be held for the newly-upgraded South Ripley baseball and softball complex on Wednesday, April 22.
South Ripley was selected by Reds Community Fund and St. Elizabeth Healthcare for a major upgrade to the facility.
Upgrades included a new synthetic infield, portable mound, adjustable base configurations for baseball and softball, and a portable outfield fence for softball.
Other facility improvements include a brick donor plaza, signage and PA/audio system.
The ceremony will feature Cincinnati Reds CEO Phil Castellini along with representatives from St. Elizabeth Healthcare, South Ripley Schools and the Tyson Fund.
It will be held from 4-5 p.m. and will be followed by a doubleheader between South Ripley and Rising Sun’s baseball and softball teams.
South Ripley is the first school in Indiana to receive the upgrade from the Cincinnati Reds and St. Elizabeth Healthcare.
