(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Local soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice will be honored during the 15th annual Ride to Remember this weekend.
The 300-mile motorcycle ride will honor 16 Southeast Indiana natives who died while serving in the military with a personalized ceremony in their hometown.
It will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday in Batesville to honor Army Sgt. Chad Keith at Liberty Park. It will take place until Sunday afternoon.
The ride will then travel to communities such as Sunman, Aurora, Bennington, Scottsburg, Sellersburg, Brownstown, Versailles and more.
Community members are welcome to join the Ride to Remember and you don’t have to ride a motorcycle to participate.
