Officials: Rising Sun woman's death possibly of natural causes

She passed away Friday

(RISING SUN, Ind.) -- The death of a woman in Rising Sun last week led to speculation in the community.
Police and medical personnel responded to a home on Fourth Street on Friday.
45-year-old Brandy Hendricks was found unconscious at the home. She passed away despite life-saving efforts.
Some community members believed Hendricks was murdered.
The Ohio County Coroner's Office directed that an autopsy be performed by the Hamilton County Ohio Coroner's Office which occurred on Saturday.
Officials say preliminary findings of the autopsy show the cause of death to be of natural causes due to medical complications.
The investigation of her death has been conducted by the Ohio County Sheriff's Office, Ohio County Coroner, and the Ohio County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
