(PENNTOWN, Ind.) – State Road 46 near Penntown will be closed for about three days as part of a construction project.
The Indiana Department of Transportation will conduct chip seal operations on S.R. 46 between Penntown and St. Leon.
It’s expected to begin on May 20 and access will be maintained for local traffic.
INDOT officials say the work seals cracks and provides waterproof protection, which extends the life of the roadways and lowers maintenance costs.
