Several road projects slated to begin Monday

(HAMBURG, Ind.) – Several INDOT road construction projects are set to begin this week.
It will result in some roads being closed, or lane closures, for the next several months.
There are other construction projects that have already started. Here are the ones scheduled to start this week:
Ripley County
State Road 129 near Delaware is scheduled to be closed beginning Monday for a few weeks for a pipe replacement project. Read here.
Franklin County
State Road 101 over the East Fork Whitewater River in Brookville will be reduced to one lane beginning Monday for a bridge deck overlay project. It’s expected to take place through late July. During the project, S.R. 101 will be reduced to one lane using temporary traffic signals.
U.S. 52 in Brookville will be closed starting Monday for a bridge deck overlay project. The project will take place between High Street and Sonja Avenue through August. Read here.
North Hamburg Road between Buena Vista and Hamburg is slated to close Monday.
Switzerland County
A portion of State Road 156 near Patriot is expected to be closed for a few months beginning on Monday. Crews will conduct a slide correction project between Gridley Road and North Branch Road. Read here.
State Road 250 between Aaron Road and Township Line Road will be closed starting Monday through mid-May. Read here.
