(SUNMAN, Ind.) – A group of siblings are fundraising on Sunday in hopes of attending a vacation later this month.
Naomi, Noah and Mackenzie Gibson have a stand where they are selling Snow Cones and Italian sodas until 5 p.m. Sunday.
It is located at their home at Trees Mobile Home Park in Sunman. The address is 328 South Meridian Street Lot 139.
A family friend asked the three siblings to join them on vacation in Satellite Beach, Florida later this month.
But the vacation opportunity comes at a time when the family has faced some financial obstacles.
Their mother, Sarah, had brain surgery in October and hasn’t able to return to work.
Sarah has also been forced to care for her mother who was recently diagnosed with cancer.
“We have been forced to be down to a one-income family and are running thin. The kids have this stand with hopes they can raise enough funds to go on the trip," Gibson said
The family added if you’re unable to stop by the Snow Cone stand today, you can donate via Venmo at @Sarah-SunderhausGibson
