The 9/11 hero who had a connection to Batesville

BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Tom Burnett boarded Flight 93 on September 11, 2001.

Burnett boarded the plane in Newark and expected to walk off in San Francisco.

Tom never expected that his actions would shape American history.

Meanwhile, a history teacher in Batesville, Indiana, was watching TV when the attacks occurred on The World Trade Center.
