Three South Dearborn archery teams qualify for nationals

(AURORA, Ind.) – Three South Dearborn archery teams have all qualified for the national tournament! 


The elementary, middle, and high school teams each earned a trip to the tournament after putting up strong scores at the Indiana NASP State Bullseye Tournament in March. 


The elementary team consists of students from Aurora Elementary and Dillsboro Elementary.

There are 17 students who qualified and the team is coached by Steve Wullenweber, Jennifer Wullenweber, and Dalton Messer.


The middle school team has 19 archers with some of the standout students being Sawyer Good and Braven Combs. Good is ranked 7th of 1,027 middle school females)and Combs is ranked 13th of 1,248 middle school males.


The high school team has 16 members who qualified with top scorers being Dalton Land and Danica Neff.


Both the middle school and high school teams are coached by Matt Criswell, Kenny Carpenter, and Red Vernon. 


The 2026 Eastern National Bullseye Tournament will be held in Louisville from May 7-9 and features over 15,000 archers.
