(MILAN, Ind.) – Two local softball pitchers are leading the entire state in strikeouts!
Milan junior Kynadee Bode is currently the top strikeout pitcher in Indiana with 106 punch outs so far, according to MaxPreps.
Bode doesn’t have to travel too far to find the pitcher who is ranked second-best in the state.
Greensburg sophomore Harper Adams is having a dominant season and currently has 103 strikeouts.
Adams is #1 in Indiana in another category, which happens to be no-hitters, as she has four so far!
Bode is also making a difference at the plate as she leads all of Indiana in runs scored.
She is also ranked #3 in the state for RBI’s and her teammate, Mallory Eaglin, is ranked #5 in the same category.
Bode and the Indians will be back in action on April 29 when they host North Decatur.
Adams and the Pirates will be at Lawrenceburg on Thursday night.
